Salakot Waterfalls: Relaxation Getaway in Napsan
Hidden in Napsan's pristine forest with cool waters all year round is Salakot Waterfalls; a nature's gift and perfect definition of the word serenity. It is named after "Salakot," a traditional wide-brimmed hat and familiar Filipino symbol.

How to get there
From the National Highway, head to the South past the famous Iwahig Prison until you see the sign that says "Napsan". Turn from there and continue straight ahead until a mixed of rocky and muddy road shows itself. You will then see a wooden sign on the right that says "Salakot" after passing two bridges. From there it will just be a 5-minute walk to Salakot Waterfalls. Remember, going to Salakot Waterfalls gives an occasional sightings of monkeys, monitor lizards and other varieties of animals. If you're a fan of nature, I suggest you keep your camera ready at all times for a possible perfect shot you've been waiting to get. Have fun!
