San Vicente town takes home the "2015 Baragatan best float award"

June is the month of Baragatan Festival, an annual celebration commemorating the foundation of the municipal government of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It is the time when group of people from different municipalities gather together to perform their uniqueness, historical backgrounds, sumptuous delicacies, etc.

Back in the day I used to push myself into a big crowd as I was dying to see the colorful and creativity of each municipality sporting their local costumes while dancing and cheering. The floats with their intricate designs parading before my eyes were sight to behold! I miss Palawan! I miss Baragatan!
