"Batang Puerto Princesa" Facebook group takes its members down memory lane

The "Batang Puerto Princesa" Facebook group created by Ms. Majal Bautista is taking its members, people who grew up in Puerto Princesa, a stroll down memory lane.

"Ang kwento ng mga tao ay ang tunay na kasaysayan at kakilanlan ng Puerto Princesa. Ito ang dangal ng sambayanan. Ingatan, huwag dungisan!", said the group's description.

Childhood experiences and unforgettable memories of the group's members are being shared.

"Nakaka miss ang old Puerto where everybody knows everybody. Masaya ang buhay, simple lang," said its member Tessie Basaya.

"Maganda itong batang Puerto kaya sana mapangalagaan dahil yung good memories ang makapagbibigay alam sa mga naninirahan ngayon sa Puerto," said another member Mike SJ. 

Its creator and admin, Majal Bautista, has a message to its members. "Mga tangay dumadami tayo, masaya! Lets enjoy freedom of expression pero i police rin natin ang isat isa...walang posts na nag bebenta, politikal na debate, foul language. Sa atin lahat itong page, Ingatan natin. Magulo na sa labas natin . SALAAM!."

The Facebook group which was created only on 8 September 2017 has already attracted 14,457 members at the time of writing.
